Went to Historic Clifton Mill to check out the Legendary Christmas lights, this is one of the largest Christmas displays in the country! You have to come out and see this to truly appreciate it….but until then, check out the Famous Ohio Light Display here in High Definition!
The light show occurs every evening at the historic Clifton Mill in Ohio between Thanksgiving and the New Year. The mill has been running evening tours of their property since the 1980s. More than 3.5 million lights illuminating the mill, the gorge, the riverbanks, trees and bridges. Each evening, on the hour, the lights are choreographed to music. There is even a 100 foot “waterfall” of twinkling lights.
The winter wonderland also includes a Miniature Village (with model trains) and a Santa Claus Museum. Every night until the night before Christmas Eve you can peek into Santa’s Workshop to see a live Santa at work and then, every 15 minutes or so, watch him check his list and go up the chimney to load his sleigh.
